Yikes is Right!!

"Hi my name is Becca, and I'm addicted to Perez Hilton". I have a habit of looking at his site daily, and he has brought to my attention how rough Lindsay Lohan has been looking lately. Now, I saw this picture on his website and I was shocked! She's only 23 and she already looks old enough to be her own grandma. I looked up other 23 year old starlets just to compare and it's pretty incredible. When you have the best of the best at your disposal in terms of taking care of yourself and you still look like you're of age to retire - something is very wrong. Let her be a good lesson to all of us that neglecting to take care of yourself, staying up late and filling your body with toxins *ahem*, will age you faster than you can say "Mean Girls".

Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads

Here's another one of my absolute must haves. I've been using these babies to take off my eye makeup for a couple years now, and I love them. There's eye makeup remover already on the pads when you buy them, so you don't have to do the painstaking work of putting liquid on a cotton ball....oh the horror! ;) They're perfect for traveling and they've never irritated my eyes. Make sure to get the oil free kind - the one with oil is messy and it stings. Want to know a secret? Store them upside down so the pads on top won't dry out - they need some love, too!

Trend - Bleached Brows

I'll do a post later regarding my thoughts on bleaching, but for now, we'll focus on the fact that lighter brows are everywhere - on the runways and in loads of ads. I'm not a huge fan of Kanye, but I have to admit, his blog is pretty awesome. He had some pictures from the Spring '10 runways posted and the bare-ness was undeniable. I thought I'd share this so we could admire the lack of brows from so many designers. Oh, and the clothes are pretty decent, too ;)

Brows - Megan Fox

I personally think Megan Fox is a babe, and I admit that I have total brow envy when it comes to her, too! I love her thick, dark brows - they're flawless! So jealous I'm not the one who can take the credit for them! But back in the day, she was suffering from some serious brow anorexia; she doesn't even look like the same person! I found images with similar poses to emphasize my point - thinner is NOT always better! She went from looking like your typical girl next door, to the Hollywood bombshell she is today. Granted the spray tan and seductive pout don't hurt, but I say it's the brows that secured her place as one of the hottest women around.

Whaaat?

I was browsing the internet today, looking for nothing in particular, when I stumbled across this image of Alicia Keys. Umm....girl, who did your makeup?! She's normally so on point with her look, so I was shocked when I saw this. Let's think positively and blame it on bad lighting or say that it hasn't been photoshopped yet; either way, this picture does not do her justice!

Sunscreen!!!

There will be many more posts to come about sunscreen - I'm all about it! Although it's not always fun to be the palest kid on the block, I have peace of mind knowing that I'm protecting myself against cancer and doing my best to keep myself looking young. My favorite sunscreen at the moment is Epicuren's Zinc Oxide SPF 20. It has an awesome texture that feels like moisturizer, it smells good and best of all, it doesn't leave white streaks or handprints anywhere. I'm in love!

Brows - Hayden Panettiere

I can not stress how important it is to have a great brow shape. Eyebrows truly frame your face and when they're shaped correctly, they will completely enhance your features. Hayden Panettiere is a prime example of bad brows turned good. Over plucked in certain areas and too thick in others, Miss H was not doing herself nor her beautiful face any favors with this "before" look. Although I couldn't get my hands on hers, thankfully, someone in Hollywood did. Check out the results for yourself.
